SCHOLARSHIPS

Education Shouldn't End When Tragedy Strikes

What the Scholarship Covers

Our scholarships are designed to meet the real needs of each family. Awards may be used for:

  • Tuition and fees at accredited colleges, universities, or trade schools
  • Textbooks and academic materials
  • Room and board, transportation, or other approved educational expenses

We aim to reduce barriers and open doors—so families can move forward with dignity and hope.

Who Is Eligible

Applicants must be the spouse or child of a U.S. law enforcement officer who lost their life in the line of duty. Each application is reviewed with care and compassion by our team, and we are available to guide families through the process every step of the way.

Why Scholarships Matter

For the families we serve, a scholarship is more than a financial award. It’s a message that their loved one’s sacrifice is remembered. It’s a chance to reclaim a future that felt lost. It’s proof that even in grief, opportunity and purpose still exist.

Our Commitment: $25 Million for Education

We have set an ambitious but critical goal: to endow $25 million to the America’s Heroes Scholarship Fund over the next decade. To date, more than $6 million has been raised, thanks to our flagship Golf for COPS event, our annual gala, and the generosity of individual and corporate donors.

How to Contribute

Your donation to the America’s Heroes Scholarship Fund helps fund the education of a child or spouse whose world has been turned upside down. You can make a one-time gift, set up recurring support, or explore opportunities to sponsor a named scholarship in honor of a loved one or organization.

It’s your donations that make the difference.

It’s from your generosity that we are able to provide for the ones who need it the most, at their hardest time in life.
